Joe is a seasoned communications and public affairs executive with more than four decades of leadership experience across the military, aerospace, and defense sectors. Known for his operational discipline and strategic clarity, he has shaped global narratives, guided high-performing teams, and advised CEO-level leaders through periods of transformation, scrutiny, and geopolitical complexity.

Most recently, Joe served as Vice President of Communications for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where he led global communications for a $28B business unit and a workforce of 30,000 employees. He directed a team of 200 with a $21M budget, overseeing brand strategy, employee engagement, crisis management, media relations, community outreach, and philanthropic initiatives. Under his leadership, the organization delivered consistently positive media performance, supported major international program wins, and advanced internal culture initiatives across the enterprise.

Joe previously held senior roles at Boeing and Bell, directing communications for some of the world’s most significant aerospace programs, including the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook, V-22 Osprey, and multiple commercial and military platforms.

Before entering industry, Joe served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His assignments included Chief of Public Affairs for the Thunderbirds; Director of Media Operations at U.S. Central Command; Deputy Director of the Coalition Press Center during Operation Iraqi Freedom; Deputy Director of Public Affairs for Air Force Space Command; and Squadron Commander at Patrick Air Force Base.
