
Raoul Bhavnani is a strategic communications leader with more than 25 years of experience advising CEOs, boards, and leadership teams through complex reputational, regulatory, and transformational moments. His work spans corporate communications, crisis management, investor relations, and public affairs, particularly in financial services and technology-enabled businesses.
He most recently served as Chief Communications Officer at Betterment, leading enterprise communications and executive visibility during a period of rapid growth and heightened regulatory scrutiny.
Prior to Betterment, Raoul was a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, counseling Fortune 500 companies across the U.S., Europe, and Asia on high-stakes communications challenges.
He began his career on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley and has also worked in politics and public affairs. A cum laude graduate of Princeton University, Raoul has served in leadership roles across civic and cultural organizations, including co-founding The India Center Foundation.
