Monty is a corporate communications advisor with nearly 20 years of experience supporting organizations operating under regulatory, political, and media scrutiny. He works with leadership teams to align messaging, manage risk, and communicate clearly with key stakeholders.

He most recently served as an Account Director at Burson, where he led communications strategy for clients across transportation, energy, and industrial sectors. His work focused on executive visibility, corporate positioning, and reputation management in high-stakes environments.

Prior to Burson, Monty was Director of Communications for Texas Central Railway. He led communications for the proposed high-speed rail project, managing media, stakeholder engagement, and public-facing strategy during sustained political and community opposition.

Earlier in his career, Monty held roles at First Command Financial Services and Hotels.com, and founded Mark It 8 Media, advising clients on messaging and digital presence.

He began his career as a reporter at the Denton Record-Chronicle.
