
Ali is a seasoned strategic communications and public affairs advisor with deep experience spanning politics, media, technology, and corporate reputation. She has Washington insights and private-sector perspectives, helping clients navigate complex stakeholder environments and achieve their most ambitious objectives.
Ali spent time at Brunswick Group, where she counseled Fortune 100 clients on corporate reputation, public affairs, and strategic profile-raising. She helped leaders and organizations manage sensitive issues, build influence, and engage effectively across sectors and audiences.
Earlier, Ali served in leadership for the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition, where she led outreach and engagement strategy for major stakeholders and key constituencies during cabinet nominations and early policy rollouts. She also played a central role in shaping the transition’s relationships across business, civic, and advocacy communities.
Prior to her time on Transition, Ali was one of the first ten employees at Axios, where she oversaw a high-performing team that generated industry-leading revenue and produced live events featuring three U.S. Vice Presidents, global CEOs, elected officials, and cultural figures. Her earlier experience includes senior roles at Condé Nast, where she helped revamp the Women of the Year franchise with a landmark global summit featuring First Lady Michelle Obama, and at Pinterest, where she led business marketing initiatives for the company’s first national campaign.
Ali began her career in public service as an aide to then–Senator Hillary Clinton, supporting the family through the 2006 Senate re-election and 2008 presidential campaigns. She later served as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Chief of Protocol at the U.S. Department of State and as an advisor to the White House Chief of Staff. At the Clinton Foundation, she led family-focused initiatives, including an $80 million public-private partnership to protect African elephants across 10 nations
Ali has lived and worked in Washington, D.C., New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
