
Ryan is a senior public affairs and communications executive with nearly 20 years of experience at the center of digital advocacy and politics. He delivers strategies that advance corporate reputation, deliver winning campaigns, and drive decisive outcomes through smart strategy and compelling creative.
Ryan most recently served as Vice President of Public Affairs at Think Big, where he specialized in strategy, creative production, and advocacy solutions for corporations, associations, and nonprofits. He guided organizations through defining moments, whether launching a full-scale advocacy program or executing a specific campaign, achieving desired policy outcomes while enhancing brand reputation.
Previously, Ryan was Vice President, Creative & Advertising Strategist at Push Digital Group and spent nearly 18 years as Senior Vice President of Advertising and Creative at Campaign Solutions. Throughout his career, he has created and executed innovative digital strategies for a diverse range of clients, including national campaigns, party committees, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profit organizations. Starting his career by managing one of the first digital advocacy products on the market, Ryan’s strategic and creative work has consistently helped hundreds of campaigns and organizations achieve their goals. A recognized expert, his work has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek, as well as on Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC.
Ryan also enjoys teaching and has previously served as a visiting professor at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, as well as an adjunct instructor at BYU-Idaho, Ensign College, and the University of Southern California. In these roles, he taught courses in marketing, digital strategy, and political communication.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from George Washington University, where he was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award for his exceptional contributions to the field of political management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. A native of Arizona, Ryan now resides in Northern California.
