Marc Bien

Marc has more than 30 years of corporate and public affairs experience leading strategic communications programs for companies in the information technology, telecommunications, automotive, finance and consulting industries.

Marc excels at coaching executives to deliver more dynamic presentations and to conduct more effective media interviews. He has trained hundreds of executives for presentations on large and small stages, as well as high-profile print and broadcast media interviews.

Marc served as vice president, global communications for Dell Technologies. In this role, he oversaw all internal and external communications for Dell worldwide, including industry analyst relations, business media relations, executive communications, social media engagement, corporate social responsibility and public affairs.

Marc led the communications strategy for Dell’s $25 billion privatization in 2013, the largest technology leveraged buyout at the time. He also oversaw financial communications for quarterly earnings and more than 25 technology acquisitions, divestitures, and IPOs, representing nearly $100 billion in total transaction value over six years.

Prior to joining Dell in 2010, Marc was senior vice president and senior partner at Fleishman-Hillard.  He was a member of the AT&T corporate communications team and performed variety of roles over nearly nine years at AT&T, and served as the one of the company’s primary spokespeople,

Marc earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and master’s degree from Georgetown University.
